You'd be surprised...
These things have great bass... I am sure they'd have even more if I took them out of my room, being that I have a killer dip at like 90-80hz- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

Man, you did stuff the F out of them.
I was thinking about half that, loose, but full - not crammed.

Isnt this the biggest dang computer subwoofer you've ever seen?- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

Looking at this post and at your website makes me think:
Do you dislike tweeters? All your designs seem to use full range drivers.
I wonder how the Black Labs would sound with Focal woofers (or another quality brand) and Linaeum tweeters?
In high school I built a design out of The Radio Shack speaker building book. It had two enclosures in one and two ports. -

Naw Sid, the 2 driver SVS models are that size. Check the DIY subwoofer forums and they'll have some that crap bigger things that that.
None the less, impressive for a first shot. I know I'm going to regret this, but do you have pics of your whole rig as it stands now, or at least a list/explanation of what you are trying to do?There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin -
The reason I am making all Full Range designs is crossovers cost money, and are more exstensive when it comes to research...etc etc etc
And I am on a limited time frame, infact I am out of shop in like 5 days... lol
Right now I am on my last project, probally...
Right now, my system is pretty much the same. I have 'tucked' the black labs away in the corner for another system, a different day...
The original computer speakers, the CompuS (refer to website) - I may be sending to a friend in Kansas to use...
I plan on using the Quardo (refer to website) for my computer system, along with the Compu Subwoofer...
I then plan to redo the Pioneers for my Mom to use in the den...
And then I plan to get a pair of Def Tech DR 7 for the main system as a secondary pair of mains...
Basically, I am trying to get my system finished, have enough speakers, that if I get tired of one sound, I can just switch them out instead of upgrading constantly... I'm tired of upgrading...lol
Thats bout it...
OH yeah, I know that the subwoofer isnt LARGE in that aspect, but the fact is, it was built for a computer system, therefore it is classified as a computer subwoofer - Most computer subwoofers are like 8x8x8 max! LOL! But, I have seen a gigantic subwoofer by Altec Lansing I think...thing was like 2 feet all but only 8" wide or so- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall.
