    hey trublu cool dog i just got a lil dobbie pup like 6 weeks ago. hes 11 weeks now. im debating on gettin his ears cropped. i heard its very painful for them. maybe ill post up some pics of him if i can get a few. andy

    Actually, I just got my SRS and run it with a big sub as well. There's a bit more thump and using the sub frees up the mids somewhat (depending on where you cross over).

    I did not have a choice when I got her and her sister. The show breeder had the whole litter cropped.
    It is very painful, picture someone taking a pair of sharp scissors and cutting shapes
    out of their flesh.
    Plus it' alot of work to keep them taped for 6 weeks as they heal and generate cartilage.

    If I had a choice I would let them be natural shaped.

    wow... seeing a wall of sdas and how good they look just makes me even more anxious to get myself a pair.

    yeah im just gonna leave them natural. everyone thinks hes cute with his huge floppy ears. and by the looks of his paws hes gonna be pretty big. hes a good dog so far but hes in that biting and chewing everything stage. like i siad ill try to get some pics of him up. andy

    Big paws, yeah, he's likely going to be a big one. If he gets larger than you prefer, though, you can always crop his torso, abdomen and hindquarters. A beast needs to suit our personal aesthetic tastes, much like a lawn in that sense. Hope things work out.
