Rm 6800 Sub

I have recently purchased an RM 6800 system, not installed as of yet. Does anybody have any recommendations with initial settings at the receiver and sub to get me close to the performance that I can expect (eventually)?? I have Sony STR-DE897 receiver. I realize all the dynamics that go into making an accurate reply, just looking for a good starting point to work from.

thanks

I have the same speakers I'll tell you how I did mine. I have a Harman Kardon Reciever I ran everything as normal but I ran the front L&R speakers through the my PSW303 Subwoofer. Now I set my speakers to small except the front L&R, I set them to LARGE. I also turned off the subwoofer on the reciever. Now everything was working fine but I decided I wanted more bass so I picked up another PSW303 and ran that out the Pre out on my reciever. Now if you do that you have to set the reciever to send bass signal to both the front L&R and the Subwoofer. If you can't do that then I would not get the second sub. Now I have much more bass and the whole package sounds better.
    Speakers: RM6800
    Subwoofer: (2) PSW303
    Reciever: Harman Kardon AVR 225
TV: I'll let you know in 2 years when everything is HD, to buy one now is just a waste. But I have a Sony Trinitron FYI.
