Anyone familiar with this designation: Carver Tfm 6Cb, 2 ch amp? Approximate vintage and value? Any experience, critical reviews appreciated.
Additional info: it's rack mountable, thin profile, maybe 2" high, has gain switches for the channels..... sorry I can't post a pic, but not in my posession (though I'm temped to make an offer for it...)

That amp goes back to around 1990-92. I think it was the smallest and lowest powered of the TFM series. It was to the best of my knowledge, 60wpc @ 8 ohms, and NOT a magnetic field design, as it wasn't cost effective to use that technology for such a low powered amp.
I don't think I'd spend more than $75-$100 for one of those. And only if I really needed it.

Yup, it appears to be 65 wpc, the newer version TFM 15cb is bridgeable, also has a "pass thru" feature. Price right around $100....
thx,
