Ok, i bought a c500.1 amp, and i currently have 2 1000 watt DVC volfenhag. The salesman at Tweeters claimed the c500.1 would push both speakers easily, it pushes one speaker great, but it barely even moves them when both subs are hooked up running at 2ohms.

So, i guess im getting another c500.1... While Im at it, i was thinking about matching my speakers with the amps, and was wondering what the best Polk/Momo DVC sub i could get.

Im wanting what will sound best in my 92' S-10.

already with just one sub hitting, ive been pulled over 2 times for "Disturbing the piece" and blew out my rear glass (replaced with plexiglass). So its not lagging at all. I get the expression "Man whats in the thing!"

If you guys could hook me up on some ideas i'd be greatful.

Thanks yall.

Well, if those were cual 4 ohm VC subs and you ran both off the 500.1, you were running at a 1/2 ohm if my math is right unless you had them wired in series which would be a 4 ohm load (I think, this stuff confuses me  ). Either way that amp is not matched right for a pair of 1000 watt subs. The guy at Tweeter is a nitwit!

As far as which sub to go with I vote a single MM2124DVC. That amp puts out a little over 600 watts and this sub will handle 800 so itll be about right and sound great.

If you want 2 subs then youre going to have to go with 2 single VC subs in which case youd want the MM2124 12" or the MM2104 10".
