    Option B -

And here is the layout up for election! Going for a more structural theme...

    Okay, I've been drinking, but...

pick an effin font size that doesn't make that lettering look like total dog crap or pick a new font altogether.

So with that drunken rant, I pick B.

    hehe,
Looks like B may be the winner if a large amount of Option A people dont jump in here soon...

Option B gets my vote because...

    1) I always wanted to do a layout with this design
    2) It took a long time to do...

    and thats bout it! ;)

Thanks for the current votes and all that will come!

Keep the Title bar of A (with the sub bar of Main, Homes for sale, Other items for sale), remove the www.eandr.biz (they're already at your site), and change the wording at the bottom about "if a link doesn't work". Just put Email here with any questions or something like that......

Also, the cropped/curved picture of the house in the upper left corner doesn't mesh, but even the full picture of the house is odd because you have it in the same line as the homes that are links below it which are for sale. Some people are just dumb enough to think that home is for sale and if they click on it and it doesn't work, they'll email you about it. What I would do instead is make it a background wallpaper for the whole page and have all your text boxes overlaying it (but make them transparent, not solid to where you can't see the wallpapered home below it).

Layout A with the same font for the header, then use the solid font for the rest, spread out the wording a little better, kill the "if the link..." and make the phone numbers larger/bold.

Layout A says class, layout B does not and FWIW, I like the cropped/curved house in the upper left corner of A.

    Thanks...

Here is what I have right now...

See if this matches better to some of the opinions out there...

The problem with the first text I used is, it is very hard to read when used in a smaller setting...

The first layout to me is way to boring and will make people fall asleep... (to me) - although I do like the way it 'feels' with the site...

So I took that design and transformed it into a 'structural' concept to match the fact we build things, so the bars connecting everything together makes it look like it was built, just trying a theme...

The final word will be my Dad, if he dosnt like it - I have the old layout saved and can switch it back easily.

Anymore input will be greatly appreciated and accepted as I can edit these images easily and not have to really do anything to change it...

    So keep em coming!

Simply change it to: "No job too small." There's too much going on with your website; you guys sound like a jack of all trades, ace of none. Concentrate this particular site on real estate and sub-contracting; make another site for the other side-stuff.

My Dad does all of that, and he uses the Other Items for Sale to list his EBay auctions to the local public...

I design my websites on Paint Shop Pro, then I load them on page builder and piece them together...I make them all by hand....

Thanks for all of the input fellas! Will keep it up and see what my Dad says....

A color background wouldn't hurt... Light green or light blue, something easy on the eyes, yet doesn't say, "drab."

    ..............professional, that is.

As a former self employed contractor,
List less of the types of work.
    General contractor says it all.
Still, if you want to list a couple of specialties that's fine,
but listing everything one is capable of doing starts to sound like a

"Jack of all trades, master of none".

Lose the graphic and website part, that belongs on a different sign.

Just giving an opinion here, take it for what it's worth.

I agree 110% with yall on the main page.

However that part of the website is out of my hands. Although I manage/design it - the content of the website is not up to me...

Thank you though for the suggestions!!

    1) phone number in banner
    2) email link on menu bar (or link to contact page)
    3) set your browser's font size to large and view your pages, then set to small and repeat.
