MA Audio Amps

Would like some technical opinions or personal experiences with MA Audio Amps. Im looking at HK-597 model the price and the power is right but I cant find many reviews on it. Hoping the resident audiophiles could help me out please.:cool:

    What would you consider a good line of amps? besides polk
    Decently priced for my poor self hahahahaha:D

    MA Audio is pretty good stuff. They are competition level amps although they are geared more towards SPL as opposed to SQ.

    My personal favorite amps in the $500 and below league are Crossfire and MTX. Both are very well built and make way more power than they are rated at. Both are also competition level equipment in both SPL and SQ.

    I would also give honorably mention to JL Audio E series, Coustic and Kicker.

    MA audio is the only line of speakers and amps that are distrubted in my town and they have horrible sound I think!

    im a fan of HiFonics....you can find them extremely cheap at www.onlinecarstereo.com

    Kewl only thing was concearned with hifonics are only 75 rms per chan and those mm6 are like 100rms. Or should I be concearned with that?

    The MM6 is rated at 150 rms. If youre wanting a Hifonics amp for the MM6 go with either this 4 channel (55x4) and bi-amp them or this 2 channel (150x2) and straight wire them.

    Yeah, MA Audio speakers aint the greatest but their amps are pretty solid.
