With my digital cable, I have this happen RARELY, but for a while it was happening more often. I called Comcast, and they came and replaced the box as well as one of the splitters coming into the house. So if it's happening noticably often (like, more than once or twice a viewing session) I'd call and complain. You're paying enough for that crap.... :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

thanks glad to know it happens/happened to others. I think I will bring my box back and get a new one cause my svideo cable is very loose in the box connection it's not a snug fit !

Happens to me rarely also on Comcast. It looks like the video of the reporters during the early weeks of the current Iraq war (especially when those guys were on the tanks or Humvees).

For the price of Comcast, and given that my 3 month low price for everything is about to go away, DirecTV is looking like a great thing!

Cable is satellite fed... Sometimes the incoming feed breaks up and when it does, so will your picture.

It happens on DirectTV as well.
