Anyone see this p.o.s. movie? LLLOONNGG & BBOORRIINNGG!!! Waited for this movie for a long time to come to theaters, the filming, pq,sq where A+ but I thought a story about a ancient leader would have battles in it!! I dont want to give much away, but 2 battles 15 min long !!! What a rip off ps the 2 battles where great!!
My HT set-up Panasonic front proj, 120 in ws screen, ATI amp,Integra 9.8 pre-pro, 2 Polk rti150, cp 1000, 4 fx 1000, Pioneer blu-ray 2 SVS sub pb 12-ultra 2, & Paragon popcorn popper. ps 3 Coaster leather HT recliners.

    I thought it was great. A contemporary equivalent of Euripedes or something, big and brash and personally expressive of powerful things. Follows Nixon in its examination of greatness and power from the inside out. Other great dramas have concentrated on the family as the core to an individual, why is Stone attacked for doing the same thing? I found none of the problems others cite, and I looked for them hard. I don't understand the way things have turned. The critics inflate pointless pop kitsch films without a soul like Kill Bill and focus their hate on movies that are actually valid and daring. It is fairly depressing the way people are trying to destroy the commercial chances of one movie and especially to destroy a director's career.

    Complete Trash !!! 12 people left my viewing. I also saw 3 people sleeping. This should have gone straight to video. And my copy can be tossed in the dumpter. Thanks
