Need help choosing receiver!

Well, I got the bad news today that the HK AVR-635 that I had planned on purchasing has been delayed until "middle of Jan - Feb". This is a problem as I am moving in the next week and I now have no reciever. I get accomodation pricing for working at CC, so I am limited to Onkyo or HK receivers. What do I do? My choices are basically; Onkyo 702, Onkyo 801 (no Pro Logic IIx, kinda big issue for me) and HK 630 (supposed to have update for audio drop-outs and PL IIx). Or I can bite the bullet for a few months a wait out the 635, or the 802. Any ideas????:confused:

    Two things I would have done differently. Be more patient and get something with preamp outs. So, don't be hasty. Bite the bullet for a while so you can get what you ultimately want.

    The 702 has preamp outs.

    I'd wait if you know you definitely want a newer model. It's only a few months...
    Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

    Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

    Yeah, it is very hard to wait b/c I bought my speaker system with last years taxes and have been waiting to use them since March. I moved around a bit and am finally settling somewhere, so I wanna hook them sons of guns up!:D Oh, decisions, decisions....

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
