I have to agree about the Manhattans! Personally, I like VO or Jim Beam in my Manhattans. They are both smooth and work out well in that drink. Then there is teh offensive ones, the ones that water people's eyes when it comes to the table, like Jack Daniels or Wild Turkey!

As far as Sinatra style, isn't that where the glass is dipped in Vermuth and then filled with whiskey and then a cherry?

Obviously someone who has never had a Yeungling. Mass-produced American beer with a limited Northeast and Southeast distribution. Very well liked by many in the area. Infact, a few liqour store owners I know say that the traditional Yeungling Lager outsells many of the bigger brand names. Since they just redid thier Light lager, that is outselling major U.S. brands too.

Yuengling is a whole other animal. The major form of dispensing is in a bottle, not a 24 can pack. I don't equate it with anything coming from Anheiser Busch, Miller, Bud, Coors, whatever. Its by far the best thing you can get for $7.75 for a 12 pack (I should know since I did this within the past couple days)

On the other hand, REAL beer is something you could have as a meal.
