best subwoofer <$200 for R50's

I recently purchased the R50's at Fry's and really enjoy them. Polk obviously knows how to create tweeters - I'm enjoying my music again now that the mid/high ranges come in so crisp and clear with these speakers. They were impressive in the store compared to the other speakers nearby, and at that price there was no question.

So, these are great speakers; however, I really would like more bass. Just for background, I don't really like to crank my music way up but I like to be able to hear decent bass even at lower volumes, but I'm not interested in boominess. Crisp clear bass to complement the crisp, clear highs would be ideal, especially for jazz (which seems to be the music that sounds the best with these speakers). You know, the sound of a good bass player right in the room.

What would be a good subwoofer to complement the R50's? In particular, what would be the best one <$200 (hopefully <$150)? Note that I do not have a receiver with subwoofer output, so I need a subwoofer with speaker inputs and speaker outputs so I can push the sound through the subwoofer on the way to the R50's.

Thanks for any responses.

I just use a cheapo 50 watt sub that I got out of an old sony box set and it does the trick for me. It fills in the bass perfectly. Since I just use my R50s in my bedroom, I don't really need to crank them. they have one at Circuit City for around $100 but I'm not sure if it has the connections you are looking for. I'm using the subwoofer out though.

actually, I just took a look at that dayton 10 from parts express (posted above) and that looks way better.
    Main system:

    Fronts: Infinity Alpha 50
    Center: Infinity Alpha 37c
    Surrounds: Infinity Alpha 20
    Receiver: Onkyo TS-XR607
    Subwoofer: Pioneer S-DW1-K
    Cable- Monster Cable XP

    Bedroom Setup:

    fronts- Polk R50
    surrounds- Polk R30
    center- CS1
    sub- Sony 50 watt
    AVR- Onkyo TSXR502
    Cable- Monster Cable XP

Thanks. The Dayton looks good to me, as well as one of the Polks (PSW10 or 202 if at decent price) but I want to get some opinions of another one that I see on sale in some websites - the Cerwin-Vega V10S. As far as I can tell, Cerwin-Vega is also one of the better brands and the best price ($170) compared to original list $300 seems good.

Obviously $170 is more than $99, but what difference in performance, if any, could I expect between the V10S and the Dayton and Polk subs?

I just picked up a Polk PSW202, NIB, on ebay for $109+shipping. It fits in nicely with my 90 wpc Denon 5.1 AVR, Polk Monitor 11 fronts, Polk Atrium45 rear/surrounds, and Polk RM Series II center.
