Its almost that most terrible time of year again, and my mom is bugging me about getting me stuff. If I don't get her a list soon, she'll give me a bunch of crap I'll have to stand in long lines to return. Anyhoo, have you guys seen any electronics freaks shopping lists? I saw the latest Home Theater Review mag, and they had some decent ideas, but would like a broader range of stuff (all electronics in general, or just generally cool stuff for a guy).

TIA!

Ask her for something from here . Ask her specifically for the amp at the top of the page. But before you do, I advise you to click the "pricing" link to the left of the page.

Crazy.... 350k..... who has that kinda money to spend on an amp? lol

I also have no idea what I want but it seems like the only reasonably priced audio stuff I want would be what exalted mentioned. Cables and wiring or maybe some cd's. New music is always good.

I just said wires, or money/gift cards would be nice. If they get me mall gift cards, they can go towards my upgrades, like those MB Q's.:D

I should also say I don't need any "big pieces" for audio (especially since they're generally out of her price range). This would be stuff like
    speakers
    TV
    sources
    pre/pros
    amps
    stuff of that nature

I'm so close to saying "I'm gonna buy the stuff I want, you can partially pay me back for whatever"

I wouldn't mind a gift certificate for there either. I'm actually thinking about taking a ride up to their store. It's only about an hour or so away.

MadMax has a real ugly watch for sale on the Flea Market. Your mom might want to scoop it up for you if you're into ugly accessories.

Ask him to knock-off the price further - he's misplaced the matching decoder ring.
