Try it for what? It's only 10w/ch.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.
Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener. -
Coming from a guy who has spam for a free ipod in his sig, about what I expected.
Surely 10w per channel has no practical application.

Hmmm, or you can be a dick and not answer my question. Thanks! You might call it Spam but I have honestly received a free iPod from them already, so what the hell is wrong with wanting free stuff? Either you're skeptical or a tool to not want free stuff.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

10 watts can go a long way...
Heck most of these 100 watts per channel receivers put out 10 watts of powers...if not less...
And..
SPAM IS SPAM, regardless- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
That might work nicely along with some diy computer speakers using those 50 cent pe drivers....
Its says it will fit in the palm of your hand? I'm curious to know exactly how large this thing is. -
Or headphones

Well looks like I got my answer from the review.... So it is a little bigger than the palm lol (comparing to a cd and cd player). I might have to buy some stuff off of pe and start some more diy projects.

Low powered amps have a place...
Fellow brought this little dig-amp to the last Texas Bottleheads meet. He'd plopped it in a case with a volume pot and an external battery pack. As I recall it was 10 wpc and maybe 4 x 4 x 3" (not counting the knob).
It didn't suck, but had definite limitations. We ran a couple different FR's on it for a while before we moved on to some beastly 8 wpc tube amps...More later,
Tour...

I own three of these Sonic Impact T-Amps. Bought two and won the third at the Parts Express Dayton DiY meet. I run mine off 12.5v 1000mA wall warts, except for one I got a 13.2v 1800mA (if I remember correctly). These will play almost ANY speaker with plenty of volume and they sound great. I was running some Polk LSi15s off them and they effortlessly filled the room with sound. I have one permanently hooked up to an in-wall line array in my brother's basement. We listen to music on it or plug our 4-channel mixer into it with our guitars, bass guitar, and Roland V-Drums (sick) and listen to ourselves on it. With the T-Amp and the in-wall line array we never have to turn it up more than 50%, ever. If we did we'd go deaf.
Here's a crappy pic of the in-wall line array. In the pic we just installed four 1/4" headphone jacks so we can practice at 2am and no one can hear us. That's the beauty of V-Drums! -
I've heard that the $99.00 TEAC A-L700P 3 channel digital power amp (@ 30 watts/channel) is much better, including a proper power supply. Here's a thread from an owner who replaced his $1K+ Sugden A28B integrated amp with 2 of the TEAC power amps....

I've just ordered a JVC RX-F10 hybrid digital receiver myself at $200.00 based upon this 27 page thread. Maybe it will replace my Cambridge Audio A500. -
Zero,
There were many considerations going into this decision. My speakers are Energy C-3's, which according to Soundstage.com's lab measurements, dip into 4 ohms much of the time despite being rated at 8 ohms. This eliminated Panasonic's SA-XR50 because, from all accounts on the internet, the XR50 doesn't like 4 ohm speakers. I was planning to get a tuner, and reading that the JVC is good with analog sources (my source is a Sony DVD/SACD player -- need analog inputs on amp/receiver) and have no problems with low impedence speakers kinda sealed the deal. I figure I could cover the cost of the JVC with the sale of the Cambridge.
