Is there ever going to be satellite radio receivers that let you listen to multiple subscription services? I'm really interested, but I don't want to have to pick between the two current providers, and I don't want to have to buy two receivers.

I highly doubt it. You'll have to choose either XM or Sirius. personally, I like XM.

you might be able to get one and then use a FM modulator for the other, im not sure if thatd work or not, but if it did you would lose sound quality

There just seems to be something wrong with having to buy a receiver that locks me into a specific service! The cost to change services gets really high, which is good for them, bad for the consumer. Someone is going to build a receiver that you can install a chip in, much like the new TV's. I think I'll wait for that type of development.
