I am using this dvd player as my cd/mp3 player. The problem I am having is that it makes lots of noise when the disk spins. A tic-tic-tic. What could cause this and is there a way to fix it? if not would this affect the quality of sound ?

thanks
JF

If you're feeling adventurous, pop the cover and play a CD and try to isolate where the sound is coming from. The old "screwdriver handle to the ear trick" works very well for finding the source of noises. Just be careful where you're sticking the screwdriver tip.
