Can anyone tell me if this is a good buy for a pair of RTI-12?
JVC RX-DP10V 7.1 Channels Receiver for $643.95.

LOL that shows you guys how much I know about speakers! I meant how do you do a bi-amp? Doesn't the amp/receivers have to say it's bridgeable?

bridging an amplifier and bi-amping speakers are two seperate things.
Bridging would be if you wanted to run 1 speaker (say a sub) off of a 2ch. amp. You'd bridge it so it only ran one speaker/sub.
Bi-amping would be if you had 4 channels of amplification (whether it's off one amp or multiple amps) and ran two speakers (pending them having bi-amping terminals on the back).Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.
Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener. -
for the price of that JVC you could pick up a Denon 3803 off Ebay...a far better product IMO...

ANYBODY can go to their public library (Remember those?) and find a wealth of information on audio, and sound reproduction. A particularly good book is titled "Good Sound" and the author is Laura Dearborn. Don't be afraid to go out and research the answers to your own questions. Another good author with several books is Hans Fantel.
This is a great forum, and it serves a great purpose, but we are depriving individuals of SOMETHING when we constantly spoon feed them info that is readily accessible to them from other sources. I don't know exactly what that something is, but developing it on their own makes for a more well-rounded person in my opinion.
QSC is not a company known for home audio. They are a professional application amp/audio manufacturer. Their products are geared towards getting a message across to arenas full of people, not living rooms full. There IS a difference.
Bi-amping can be accomplished vertically or horizontally. It's in the library.

If you're truly serious about this stuff and can find those books, once you pick them up you'll have a tough time putting them down. I did.

QSC makes great amps for live performance use, but outside of using one for anything but driving a sub I wouldn't recommend it. I would take one, for example, over the one that SVS offers with their passive subs.
