I know there not Polks. But they are from Sandy Gross
just bought and have gotten broke in a pair of Definitive BP7001sc's. So I moved my Polk RT800i's to the rear, all I can say is WOW these new powered towers really get up and go and having towers in the rears HOLY @#$%. the rears have more presence than they used to, watching movies is much more enjoyable now and music is just incredible. With the 7001's I do not turn the system up quite as loud to get the same volume i am used to, and the imaging is great I put these in the same location as the polks were and the sound field seems to diappear a little more.
dont now how I got the wife to okay this purchase but I am all smiles, I am sure that I will be paying for them in more than one way

How do you have them placed?
Congrats on the new speakers! With 2 6.5" rear firing drivers they need to be atleast 1 - 2 feet from the back wall
Definitive makes AWESOME speakers!
PICS! PICS!:p- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

We need more Polk To Definitive converts
If that's the way you really feel, you can leave any time you'd like, Sid... I know, I know, the smilie means you were kidding. I stand by my comment.Ludicrous gibs! -
Edited, not worth it
If you have a problem with me (which it seems you do) PM me...you can rant and rave all you want and I will be sure to fire back...

Anyways,
Do you plan on getting Defintive surrounds and center channel? Or sticking with da da Polks?
How does Def Techs seperate subwoofer do in comparison of the ones built in to the towers (since the ones built in are the same as the supercubes)?
What are you pushing them with?- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
