Hey guys,
Never purchased jewelry in my life before and I'm just wondering if you think this one is of good quality and a fair price. I don't know anything about the jewelry rating system which is shown on the product specs.

This one looks the best from the others I've seen. What do you think?

Thanks

    F1,
Yeah. I was so stupid. I should've ordered it last week when it was on sale for $208.

I would consider that in the 'trinket' category. You can probably go to a 'gold on a roll' stand and get the necklace and charm for $99.

I'm sure she'll love it and reward you....perhaps in a new way, it would seem.

    PolkThug,
It's going to be a Christmas gift and I don't want to cheap out. She goes shopping a lot so I don't want to get her something you can easily find.

They say it comes with a registered certificate of authenticity regarding its quality. So is it safe to say this thing is no BS?

    Maurice,

Here's the sellers feedback rating, http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/seller/feedback.html/104-1658580-5527946?%5Fencoding=UTF8&asin=&marketplaceSeller=&seller=A2WA13QTJYT68D

Hard to say about jewerly on the internet, personally I'd feel better buying from a local shop where you can inspect it and if she doesn't like it, return it if need be. There is so much jewerly made I seriously doubt if she could see all of it no matter how much shopping she does. Don't limit yourself to a Zodiac sign either, woman love regular necklaces, ear rings, bracelets, etc. If you do buy something off the internet, pay for it with a credit card in case there's a problem.

    F1,
Thanks for the link. The reason I want to get her a Zodiac sign is because she's into all that horoscope stuff. So I can't think of a better gift.

Also, because I've never bought jewelry before and don't know anyting about them, I'm scared that if I buy local, the salesguy can easily trick me and rip me off. Even if I get to inspect it, I don't know what to look for. Yea, I'll be paying with my credit card.

    John D,
You're a sick man LOL! Skin flute tootin. There's something I'll never forget LMAO!

    maurice,

First, and this will come as a shock to Sid, Jesse's first post was not referring to a vehicle...

Second, isn't Toronto like the diamond hub of Canada? Forget the malls and such and go downtown to the diamond wholesaler section with a print out of the item. See what they have ready made or will make for you.

While it is more in line with preparing to purchase a "rock", here's a great site a friend put me onto to get me at least conversant on diamonds.

Good luck, it's a big step... not THE big step, but a big step.
    More later,
    Tour...

The internet can trick you easier than a salesperson can... I'd rather pay 100 dollars more to hold the item before I can buy it than to see a picture with some specifications.... go local and don't take the risk.
