Center channel match for R20's
I think I've asked this question in the past, but I'm going senile and can't remember. Besides there is an ebay CSi40 center going in the next 90 minutes and I want to know two things...
Will it match my R20's well......and is the current bid of about $230 above market value.
Thanks in advance to you knowledgable Polkies.

Great link Frank, thanks. I guess I just haven't spent enough time here. I probably should have seen that.
However, I've read about he CSi20, and heard the 30 and the 40. Granted the listening sessions with the 30 and 40 were less than ideal but I know what I liked, and the 40 sounded alot better than the 30. I have read the 20 is rather anemic compared to the others, so I'm not even considering it.
What I was more concerned with was the timbre matching of the R20's with the CSi line. Would I get a mostly seemless soundfield in the front with these three?
Thanks for the reply Frank. -
You're best options, since you don't want the CSi20, is either the CSi30 or another R20. The CSi40 is a whole lot bigger than your R20's, will need more power, and will really over power your front sound stage.

Yes, the CSi20 isn't in the same class as the other two. I own both the CSi30 and CSi40, and must say that the 30 is 85% the speaker at about 50% the cost. You don't get the lowest lows, but they will match your R20's better. Also, if you're crossing your center channel at 80-100hz, you'll notice even less difference. The CSi30 was the best bang for the buck of the three.
