Greetings. I have been pretty busy for awhile now with work and hobbies. (Built a home theater roome from scratch and golf every chance I can) What I am trying to say is that I value my time.

On reading my email today I decided to look at the one from Polk. They invited me to complete a survey and while I don't normaly do these on-line I am a fan of the products and have been for years. I have a complete 7.1 system in the HT a pair of floor standing Polks in the living room and a smaller pair in a bedroom.

After taking the time to start the questionaire it went through about six pages (only a question per page) than told me I wasn't qualified for some reason and kicked me out. Neat technology as I think Polk must use it for distributing their newsletters as I have been getting the same service there.

Not a big deal but if you want my help in the future get some tips from a company like Mequiars car wax as they know how to grow their business with existing customers.

The greeting below was part of my invitation>

"Thank you in advance for your participation!

Sincerely,
Al Ballard - VP of Marketing
PolkAudio, Inc. "The Speaker Specialists""

Regards

We've got another thread going about this......

    http://clubpolk.polkaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=23624#newpost

The only one who claims they got all the way through is Russman. The whole deal is kinda fishy, IMO.

Sorry I wasn't in the mood to do a search after the time waster and I am usually carefull about such things.;) Looks like wasn't alone with my opinion and hopefully Polk learns a lesson. I am afraid I have learned mine.

Now one can match speakers from differant manufactors with a clear concience even thought there will be lots of doubt on the result.:D
