I have a chance to buy two audiosource amp ones for about $60. The catch is they need servicing. The guys says they power up but the only put out muffled music with noise. Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong with them. Are they worth buying?

You can buy NIB Amp100's for $100 on ebay.

    I agree with Russman ,

There are much better deals on AudioSource amps that can be had with a little searching .

Look at E-bay for starters , or possible check Ubid.com or at Thetwistergroup.com .

I purchased an Audiosource amp (refurbed) from Ubid that works great ; and a another used amp from a fellow Polk member here at the forums . No regrets thus far ..... ;):D

Codey, get the Audiosource Amp 3. I've been using one for about a year, and it works great. There is one test by one of the on-line magazines, and it rivals one of the more powerful Carver amps.
