I have a pair of rt2000i's. It looks like I've been hiding under a rock in a cave since I'm technically clutz. Today I asked the folks at polk if I could use a biwire cable with my speakers and they responded that I couldn't. I tought I could since they have two sets of binding post, which I assume is for the hi/mid and one the lows connected by a metal strip. All of your responses make sense, and it seems I can indeed wire my speakers the way you specified. One set to the hi/mid one to the lows at the speaker end and two wires together to the (+) post and two wires together to the (-) post. Am I right with the assumption. Txs.

Polk is right..you cant..the 1000's and the 2000's you cannot "biwire"...due to this!

one set of posts are for the subs input...and the other for the mid/tweater..

that is why...no speration of the mid tweater like on the 800is'.. wich can be seperated.

hope that help clear things up a bit:rolleyes:
