I want to connect 2 center speakers to increase the imaging of the center. How do I wire them so to maintain the 8 ohm seen by the amplifier?
I'm running a Denon 5800 (upgraded)
Rti-12 Fronts
CS 400 Center ( I want to wire 2 of them together)
FX 1000 surrounds
Rt 25 Surround backs
Thanks for the input !

The 5800 is THX certified. THX certification requires it to run impedances down to 3.2 ohms per channel. Just wire 'em up. 4 ohms is fine.Go BIG or go home!

Would I be best to run a separate wire from the 5800 to the second speaker or the wire in series, etc?

Parallel, not series. Series will be 16 ohms. Basically you will run two wires to the + on the reciever for the center, and one wire to the + on both speaks. Same with -. Two 8 ohm speaks makes a 4 ohm load in parallel.Go BIG or go home!
