Temporary Center Channel

Right now I have a set of LSi's for my left and right, but I don't have a center channel.
My short term solution would be to buy a set of the R30's from outpost and use them as dual center channels(each side of TV).

Later, when I have more money saved up, I can get some Vifa tweeters and switch them out to match the LSi's up front.

    Save your money and get the right speaker when you can afford it.

    Yeah, what he said.

    If you NEED something up front, get something total gruntball. Go hit the thrift store and get your $4 center channel on.

    When I was building my first HT, I used a 'Craig' 6x9 speaker in a wedge box, until I had the money for what I wanted.

    Cheers,

    I'm sort of working with the WAF here.

    She will be much more accepting of a little at a time instead of a large purchase(like an LSiC).

    She was okay with me getting the 7's because I sold all of my old stuff, but I'm out of stuff to sell.

    Sounds like you need to be shopping for a brass pair, rather than speakers.

    I agree with Mazeroth.

    IMHO, A phantom center is better than a mismatched center.
    Win7 Media Center -> Onkyo TXSR702 -> Polk Rti70
