I believe Monster's M-series may be the one they consider to be the higher product line. Lot of mixed opinion here on wire, you might want to consider MIT, I have used both companies and really like the MIT. Still using the Monster on my HT rig and it does the trick. Are you going for music or HT?

We don't always agree, but I'm with you 100% on this one.

I'll second the MIT suggestion and forget bi-wiring......waste of money.

Yes, M is the higher line, but there is some overlap.

I would try a used umbilical cord from the local Hospital maternity ward. I hear they are excellent.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

The Monster M & Z series does overlap & lots of times its the same cable with a different jacket. The Z4 & the M2.2 is the same cable, The Z2 & the M1.4 is the same cable with different jacket & so on. The M2.4 speaker cable dosnt have Z series equal. The M series are ul approved & the Z is not. The Z series may costs slightly less than the M but no ul rating. I use & sell both series. I was told by Monster the Z series was created for BB. Big box retailers cant sell M series so Monster & BB came up with the Z line so they could sell cables = to the M series.
