equalizer with subwoofer

I have a old AudioControl Model C-22 EQ with subsonic filter and rumble filter. Does anyone know if I can use this with my soon to be built subwoofer. The sub will be powered by an Adcom GFA-555 bridged mono (600w). The sub will be receiving the LFE signal. Thanks in advance.

If its got an RCA connector in/out, I don't see why not.

The subsonic and rumble filters may be very well be useful with a subwoofer application (although there is a greater chance than zero they were designed for turntable use). I'd lean towards using a high(er) end, parametric EQ specifically designed for such application, or nothing at all.

I would almost think the trade off of having the filters, vs the $.19 resistors the signal has to pass through in your EQ wouldn't be worth it. I'd bet you are going to degrade the signal, more than you are 'fixing' it.
