    Nice!

Although, looking at the pics, I get the feeling when I walk in the room someone would strike a huge gong.

    Probably just me.

    Cheers,

    Peter,

Good to see your still kicking. Having any problems finding tape for that DAT recorder I sent you?

Don't pay any attention to Russ' gong comment. He's used to getting struck in the head when he walks in a room.

Thanks George...not at all, got all the tapes that I need, and that DAT is still cranking, sounds better than many CD players...you can see it in my pictures, second one down...

Glad to hear from you too, are you still flying high?

I know..Russ is too self protected...but he is still a decent guy...:)

    Take care old buddy...

    Cheers

    Peter,

Yes, I'm still working for Uncle Sugar.

What do you use as a source for recording onto the DAT machine that makes it exceed the sound of some cd players?

man, do you like Pioneer Elite?!?!:p

Nice looking system, though! It's amazing how seemlessly you integrated the sub and surrounds in that room. All furniture/decor does create a nice environment; a gong would be cool! :D

Yeah I noticed. I talk about the forum when I go home sometimes, I think it made him jealous. I was a member back in the day with him as well but I as well took a hiatus.

He doesn't switch stuff around as much as I do, he just enjoys what he has. I think he and slowpolky should have a talk.

    Thanks Noah,

    Got it....really nice...Peterng....who does your 'decorating'...awesome interior!
Also you have a pretty heavy center on top of your TV...I have a similar projection model
....and have been worried about mounting my CS2 on
top....thinking it might warp the lenticular screen....

Any problems with that? Looks OK in the pics.

I keep telling him to upgrade the receiver. The 39TX is getting long in the tooth. Still, it's Burr-Brown DACs and the sound is wonderful. It's changed quite a bit on the top end, theres Blu-ray, HD-dvd, and a new 52" 120hz.... I bet he'll break out the camera this weekend. All the Elite stuff is still there.

And no, that is not me. I'm his son, hence why my stuff is so much different. (And cheaper LOL).
