Recommend Lsi7 Placement?

All,
I'm trying to determine the best placement for Lsi7s as surrounds. I have attached a diagram of my apartment. I have Lsi15s and LsiC in front. Now I just need to properly place my Lsi7s. I have two stands but I am thinking of just using one. Place one Lsi7 behind the lamp in the corner on a stand and the other Lsi7 on the computer desk. Maybe having each one somewhat shoot across the room pointed towards each other.

What do you think? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I would get a small ladder and experiment with different placements and heights. I would try locating them fairly high on the walls - 1 above the lamp shooting down the hall and the other above the bar shooting at the oposite wall. (the wall your couch is on)

As opposed to front speakers, they do not typically sit at ear height.

Be prepard to play around a bit before you make any permenant mounting choices.

Your room layout makes it difficult to achieve optimal surround speaker placement. Consider ceiling mounts.

    Yup... tough room.

    From your sig: "Lsi15's, LsiC, Fxi30's, Csi30"

    What are the FXi30's doing?

FXi30's are currently mounted on the wall above the computer desk and essentially above the lamp in the corner at the same elevation (pretty high). I'm in the process of attaining the Lsi7's and will replace the Fxi30's at that time.
That's essentially why I'm trying to figure out what to do with the Lsi7s.
The Csi30 is on a stand situated between the chaise and couch. I haven't been real impressed with the 6.1 setup since I don't have hardly any 6.1 media. I'll probably switch back to 5.1 for the time being.

Let me know what you guys think.

I would at least try the 30's as your surrounds in the opposite side corners.

Kind of a waste of the 70's, if they end up serving the 'puter, but could be their short-term fate...
