the 650 would mate well with your existing system. i don't think their is much on the horizon for new polk subs, i think the 550 was the newest to be introduced, but the 650 is the top of the line right now. you may want to consider a velodyne or HSU, both good subs in the same price range...

There's alot of sub info lurking around here.
It is, to the disdain of some, a constant subject
    around here.

But most will tell you, in the Polk line,
    consider the psw650 or psw450.
Of course there are of course many other reputable brands.

Hey Juice, will you let me know how you like your sub after it finally arrives? As you know, that sub is a part of my future plans, and I'd be interested in how you feel it performs. Hope you get it soon.

Just curious as to the warranties or the velodyne or HSU. And has anyone dealt with their customer service?

Warranty: 30-day money-back guarantee, 5-year limited warranty on subwoofer, 1-year on electronics.

    never dealt with CS....

Velodyne is good to very good. When I needed to change the crossover, they are cap like things in the amp section of my ULD. They sent out the new ones right away. Another time the driver froze up and they replaced it no questions.

smkngstv, definately try it! See my post on "double filtering" I explain how I have my two. Put the more powerful sub in the front and the other in the rear. Actually THX only certifies HT's with two subs. It made a big diff. for mine. Feels in the whole back stage with more bass. Just run it in series with one another useing Monster Bass Cable. Some of there cables even come with the Y adapter.
