Now renamed "The Departed", Martin Scorsese will be producing the movie with Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's Plan B Production. Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio will star....

Given that the original "Internal Affairs" was a trilogy, maybe the American remake will become a franchise as well.

Hmmm....lots of remakes of Asian movies....

I think you mean INFERNAL Affairs rather than "Internal".

Despite Scorsese taking the helm for this remake. I don't see it being any better of what is already hailed as a gem of a movie.

What really made the flick was Tony Leung and Andy Lau's performance. Without them it probably wouldn't have been considered for a remake.

Damon and Dicaprio are good actors but they're not the calibre of Lau and Leung.

It's too bad Infernal Affairs had a limited showing in N.America and the treatment of Miramax to the dvd cover is an insult !

The Departed ? Blehhh... The Infernal Affairs title rocks !

    .....and here's your U.S. dvd cover !

"Loyalty. Honour. Betrayal." ? Does Miramax have to add this to all Asian flicks ?

Sure sex sells but someone's who's gonna buy it for the girl toting a gun will be in for a big disappoinment.

Two dvd cover arts. Two different messages.

If you like Michael Mann movies than you'll definitely like this one.

My brother has the Asian version and showed me the awesome intro.

The movie basically started with two guys in a high end audiophile shop. One of them was checking out gear. High end speakers and tube amps all over the place. The guy demoed an amp, speakers and changed cables, etc. Very cool. It will make you guys drool:). Wonder if that scene made it to the American version.
