Hello guys

due to the shape of my room I don't have a wall behing my sitting area, I do not want to put the fxi30 on stands as I have two boys (6 & 8), my question Is, it possible to place both rear fxi30s on the ceiling looking down over the sitting area, if so I'm I going to lose quality, thanks alot

Put them to the sides in dipole mode. Very diffuse sound that way.

Putting them actually on the ceiling might work but might seem unnatural, I usually don't face the top of my head toward the screen at the theater or at the stage when at a concert.:D :D

    Cheers,

Here are a couple of diagrams that might help a little bit. I spent a little time on this because I am in about the same situation with my FXi30's.
Try OMNIMOUNT to see if any of these might work.
