I have an older kenwood 6050 and a yammie htr 5730, I would like advice as to wich would be a better receiver for the bedroom system. the Ken is about 3 yrs old amazing shape, the htr was a great deal with sat/sub I could not pass up (WAF factor) for the bedroom system. I'm just not sure which receiver I should keep and wich I should sell or give to a family member.
thanks

Try both of them in the bedroom and use the one you like more. Or you can keep the one your wife likes more. If you make her happy, your next audio purchase should be much easier;).

Ditch the Kenwood. Even HTIB receivers are better than Kenwood's...Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.
Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener. -
Actually as I recall, that Kenwood model wasn't half bad. The 5730 Yamaha is a **** though. And that's coming from a Yamaha guy.
