I'm sad cause this forum continues to slow down (even though I know I'm guilty for participating even less, I still check up here pretty much daily).
I got my new ride about 3 weeks ago but never took any pics. I finally took some and put them up on cardomain.com if anyone wants to take a look.

hey, we got the same head unit. I think I got mine around February of 2002. I love the bass management and HPF.

Fine. I'll post the full sized versions for you guys in a little. Everyone but you guys get the small pics.
And yeah. I love the head unit. The only thing I'd ever upgrade for is to get the auto EQ w/ mic and timing correction2005 Subaru Impreza WRX -

Mm... they enlarged the hood scoop for the 04-05 models. You can imagine how big the WRX STi's scoop is.2005 Subaru Impreza WRX

Get this. Only a FEW hours after having the car, I notice a small crack starting to spread that the base of the windshield. By the time I noticed, the dealership was closed. I call the very next morning to report it and they say to come in. I wasn't able to go that day because I would have to leave my car overnight to be repaired. I go down 2 days later and they start saying its my fault, and they wont fix it. The head guy says something about me offroading the car because theres dirt on the tire (the part of the tire that touches the ground, no doubt). No rock could hit the windshield from my own tires. Then they say "well it could have happened on the freeway." Nope, nothing hit it. I heard nothing. Plus, rocks do NOT hit the bottom of windshields when driving on the freeway, especially rocks the size of the "rock impact" in the picture. The way the wind flows over the car would cause it to hit the middle or top of the windshield, if anywhere at all. So I've called up Subaru's head office and scheduled an appointment with the guy responsable for all the claims made on the car's in Southern Cali. Hopefully he sees my side and allows it to be repaired for no cost.2005 Subaru Impreza WRX

I dont think so. It seems they spent a lot of time and put a couple extra pounds on the car to get the frame a great deal stiffer than it needed to be, for handling of course. What ya think of the other pics?2005 Subaru Impreza WRX

if you have full coverage on the car, the insurance should pick it up if the dealer doesnt

polkthug - nice ride, i like the shiny black...
on the rock - don't be too sure that you'll get anything, even if you're telling the truth. i managed to get two dents from the freeway (driving up an onramp, the truck in front of me decides to let a shower of dirt and gravel go, and lucky me, i'm right behind him... grr...). one is a nice big one on the drivers door, the other is about 4" from the bottom of the windshield... it doesn't have a spreading crack like yours, but it's got the impact point there... but cody might be right, you might be able to get insurance to pay for it (if you try that, make sure your premiums don't change first!).It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

Thanks neo, Bimmers are a great investment, you don't get upside down in payments, I used the sale of my 99 to get the downpayment for this one.
Nice ride mbdyer. Is that a 'dealer badge' on the bottom left of your trunk? If it is, I would remove it asap.

Whew! It ticks me off when a dealer slaps a cheesy emblem on a fresh car. -
I got lucky and the Chevy dealer replaced my Silverado windshield under warranty after a rock hit it. Similar crack to yours.
This would have been about an $800 repair.
THANK YOU CHEVROLET ! ! ! -
Not sure on the wear. They suck though. Dont buy the Pontenza RE92's ever. Ever ever. Well, unless you like doing donuts. In that case, its ok. (Side effects may include sliding into curbs, poles, ditches, ravines when snowing or raining heavily). Nothing has happened to me yet but the traction is lacking.2005 Subaru Impreza WRX
