wuzz up
sounds like the people here have alot of federal reserve notes. I was wanting these speakers for my fronts not my rears. It would be nice to have lsi 25 front and 15 rear.I went down to tweeter and listened to the lsi 15 and they are very nice like you said very detailed in mids and highs.I have a Denon 3802 and a velodyne dls sub.I had jbi's in the front and they are getting old.you think these would compliment my system, and what rears do you recommend ?

Welcome to the Club...
If you're talking 15's you should send me your excess FRN's...
LSi 15's are too much of a challenge for your 3802. Basing this on many discussions here. Your AVR should be able to handle LSi7's, and maybe 9's (but I doubt it)...
Before you plunge into a purchase of the LSi's, you should think about dropping some cash into:
- a beefier AVR;
- outboard amp(s) for your 3802; or
- separates.
WHat JBL's are you running?More later,

When i went down to listen to these LSI 15' The system he choose was a 3805. Its only 10 watts difference then my 3802 why would you say a 3802 wouldn't push these speakers. There was no sub just amp and they sounded great.
Im just wanting a better than average speaker to develope the rest of my system.and what would be a good choice for a amp to beef up the avr 3802 .,. -
Because the Denon receivers cant do a 4 ohm load (wa la, the LSi is 4 ohms)
And the Denon dosnt do the LSi line justice, period...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
What speakers should i consider in that price range for the denon.

minime,
If you LOVE the LSi's by all means get them.
Is there a chance that given your listening habits they will work on your 3802? Yes, but based upon many reports here, it is a small chance.
The beauty is you can try and if they work great, and if not, you are $300 or so away from utilizing them to a great, if not their fullest extent.
Just did not want you to expect HT nivana with them paired with your 3802. Was not my intent anyway to put you off the LSi's entirely...
So pull that trigger, see how it goes and we'll be here if addition help is needed.
Fair enough?More later,

If you currently have the Denon, keep it
Use it as a preamp
and get a seperate amp
Maybe one from...
Audiosource, Adcom, NAD, Rotel, Outlaw Audio, B&K, blah blah blah -- look on ebay
That'll do it... you need an amp 4 ohm stable, I believe all of the amps I listed are, not sure about Audiosource though?- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
and one more question .What would the 300 dollar ultimate product be? and thanks for your help. Ive got a great ear for music but dont no jack about the equipment..I think ill get these and build my system around them..Thanks..;)

New or Used? Used obviously opens up a great deal more possiblities.
Sid, rattled off most of the major players, but for $300 some would have to be used...More later,
