I run into the word monitor(s) quite a bit when browsing for speakers. I know Polk has had a few models that are monitors.
my question is this: does the word "monitor" mean more than just the series or model of a speaker. lots of other speaker makers use the term monitors for describing their speakers.
Does is usually mean that any speaker called a monitor has upgraded parts over a non monitor model etc.. ?
