I've just finished watching The Alamo. Wow what a great movie, one of the better new releases.

The Alamo PQ is simply gorgeous, razor sharp, grain and noise free high definition transfer which truly deserves the THX certification. Colours are rich and warm. Top-quality transfer!

SQ is astounding, DD EX 6.1 presentation, a flagged track, no need to force EX here. The details are simply stunning especially during the action scenes. Surrounds are active all the time and quite noticible. The .1 LFE is agressive with tight loud bass. Cannon blasts will give a good workout to your subs. A must for those who love bass!

I really enjoyed the movie, if you like Master and the Commander, you'll love this one too. Highly recommended to add in your DVD collection!
