Didn't a forum member recently post a Cambridge int amp for $160 shipped?

Why dick around, get something decent, eh? I can look through my stash, I've got a rack full of Marantz silver-faced receivers from 15 to 70 wpc.

Check out the old Kenwood jobbies on the bay, KA-XXXX. Also, look for an NAD receiver, ala 7220, 7225 etc. They go for around a c-note also.

All else fails, I have a Marantz 1040 (20 wpc) int amp you can have for $50 shipped.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    Hey,

I dont want anything to good or expensive, cheaper is better...lol

It will be powering 50 cent full rangers from parts express, nothing special at all...

And will just be doing basic things, such as playing funny movies over the net, online games, etc...nothing really demanding

So... Keep me in mind, I gotta get 30 more dollars to make 50 dollars, once I get that far, I'll send a Money Order your way :D

    Thanks

You have any pics of the unit?

Hit the classic audio site, I'm tired of taking pics for you. That, and it's at the office - 26.2 miles away, and I'm 3 sheets to the wind.

I'd suggest the possibility of the Sonic Impact amp that can be had for less than $30 shipped paired with a Rat Shack mixer. You could even throw in an inexpensive EQ. This would offer very good flexibility compared to an integrated amp.

Check your local thrift stores. If not today maybe tomorrow.

Ahh.. back at my parent's house... many years ago... I pumped my computer through my old chrome-faced Panasonic receiver (with turntable no less)... did wonders with the old 20 year old bookshelfs to wake up the 'rents.
Man, I'd pay $50 to have that shipped down here to TX.
Any unit will work for you, but try a cheap used car amp off of a 12v wall adapter (min 2amp) See if a local shop is throwing a piece' out.
