Polk RT8 Speakers not working

Hi there,

I bought A pair of RT 8, Floor Standers in 1997. Each has got a tweeter and a woofer. One of my woofer doesn,t work. I checked for the problem and found out that the aluminium sheet which holds the coil to the cone is broken. ( don,t know the name)

What can I do. should I replace the whole speaker or should I get the part and replace it. In both cases I need to know where to get the parts and how much it will cost.

I live in Brunei Darussalam which is in the island of Borneo. There are no agents here therefore i can't find any help here.

    Look at the top of the page in the yellow band. Click on the part that reads, "Service and Parts", send an e-mail explaining the problem with your 8's, and you are on your way.

    And do be sure to mention you are a Club Member.
