Question for you people out there. I purchased this amp and i am, going to use it to push to polk audio 10" dvc. The specs state that it is 250 x 2 bridged. does that mean 250 a channel ??? How would i achieve this ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

sounds like you can wire it 250x2 or 500x1
i dont know why they have it listed as bridged for 2 channels though...do you have a link to the specific amp?

On the site you can click on products and see the amp specs. it states 400x2 , but that is for a short burst. Continuous is 250x2.

    or it's a four channel amp - bridge each pair for 250 W x 2 Ch @ 4 Ohms. that's 125 W x 4 Ch @ 2 Ohms or like 70 W x 4 Ch @ 4 Ohms.

okey, this is oldish, but if you're still around - the 400x2 that you're looking at? doesn't mean $hit. that's a peak value. the continuous, or rms, value is all that matters. in this case, for the Octane R8.0:4, the numbers are:

    75 W x 2 Ch. @ 4 Ohms
    125 W x 2 Ch. @ 2 Ohms
    250 W x 1 Ch. @ 4 Ohms (Bridged)

    this help?
