The sound...is...umm..umm...umm...ummm...ummm...ummm...

UMMMMMM

*thinks REALLY hard*

Well, let me break it down

The high end is NOTHING like I am use to, but it is still pretty detailed, all considered...

The mids are SMOOTH, jeez are they SMOOTH...

The soundstage, is amazing - however it dosnt 'seperate' well...

The bass is pretty good, all that I expected

The driver isnt broke in, of course..so...

Will post my impressions later on...

Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player

DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

    Hmmm...

    These speakers are incredlbly directional...

The detail they present depends souly on where your ears are with the wizzers...

I find that if I sit with my ears level with the dust caps, the detail surpasses most tweeters I have heard.

The seperation in some songs is just uncanny for 2 woofers...

If these speakers could play louder, they could easily pass as my main speakers...

The Definitives still hold their own in most respects though...

I understand why it does that...

But at first I was just sitting up right...

    So :p

Gotta make them taller somehow without going nuts... :p

Man I am in awe at how good these dang things are...

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying them. Now if you only listened to better music you could see what they are fully capable of.:D

I'm just razzin' ya. Remember when I built those $52.11 single driver transmission lines out of PVC? I'm sure everybody laughed to themselves when I raved about the sound. The imaging is spot-on, and the mids and vocals are amazing. Sure they won't do everything as well as some other speakers, but let's see an SDA do solo piano nearly as well.

Congratulions! You have just kicked it up a notch. Let's see some building pics!

I have 10 more pictures on the disposable camera...

Once I use them, I will get it developed! :D

    I have mostly been using...

    Poe - Haunted
    Dido
    Beth Hart
    Tatu
Dream Theater - Scenes From A Memory
    Sean's Reference Songs

And I tried some rock music but didnt quite like what I heard.

Last night I set them up to be crossed at 80hz, will see if they change sonically...

As long as it's recorded with one mike, they are just as awesome as ever.
