in combination with a power conditioner?

Such as: the Monster Cable Voltage Stabilizer AVS 2000

Did you notice a difference?

Don't personally use one but did have one set up at an old retailer we worked for. 2 identical Sony 42" plasmas, one off the AVS2000 and a 7000 rack mount line conditioner and the other plasma off just the line conditioner. You could noticably see a difference. Over time, the plasma not on the stabilizer had started to dim faster.
Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

    .....Interesting.
I wonder if the difference can be heard as well as seen.

I use the tripplite lcr-2400 which accounts for brownouts and high voltage. I see it clicking around depending on the time of day. If nothing else you know it has to be a good thing for component reliability. With tubes it keeps the bias voltages constant reasonable well.

I have read that these (Stabilizer AVS 2000
) can be noisy, with a clicking sound, can anyone confirm this?

My 2000 does make some noise but I can't hear it during normal playback and forget about hearing it at reference...

For theater I wouldn't be concerned,
for some types of 2 channel music,
    it might be bothersome.

Have a look at the Exact Power EP15A if you are interested voltage regulation. It provides several additional benefits the Monster product can not. Combine it with their SP15A (or any other balanced power unit, BPT for example) and you will have the best power you could provide to your components.

Yes, the Monster unit can be noisy when it switches 'taps' to correct the voltage.

    Thanks for the link.
    Sounds like great stuff.
A little pricey for me though,
I was shopping ebay for used units for under $500.;)

Try looking for a Furman unit. They have a range of products (pro and home audio) that might suit your needs if you require voltage regulation. Cinepro also had products on the market (I believe they were made by Furman) that balanced or regulated power. There are others, but I can not think of their names at this time. Will update when I remember.
