I currently own a Rotel pre/pro and an RMB-1075 power amp. I just looked at some Polk LSi 9s and loved them. I would also get the LSi center and surrounds. Anyone running this combo? I would be interested to know your opinion. Thanks

Although I can't comment with any authority,I've "heard" the LSI series and Rotel would be a very good match-up...
I have my sights set on a RB-1080 to power our 12's and a RB-1075 to power all the rest...
I think you would be more than happy with the 9's and company. -
Although I don't have a Rotel combo, I ran a Rotel receiver RSX-1065 with all LSis speakers (5.1), comprise of 15/Fx/C in the past, and I have to say the Rotel drives them very adequately. It was rated at 185 watts/channel at 4 ohms. I almost bought 1075/1066 combo at that time, but changed my mind to the 1065 due to cabinet space constraint. All in all, I do think Rotel and LSi is a very good match, you won't be dissapointed. I sold the receiver since then, since I am going to two channels (as it was primarily used for, up to a couple months ago). Good luck!I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I posted my comments on the Rotel 1075 in the Rotel board. As I noted, it will probably drive you 9's quite well. I am very critical listener and 1075 doesnt control the woofers on my 15s as well as I would like so I will try the 1080 which has about 80 more watts/ch and +800 higher dampening factor.System 1: Martin Logan Vantage, Rotel RC 1070, B&K Reference 200.2, Music Hall DAC 15.2, Yamaha 2300
