My brother is wanting some smaller speakers for his HT (limited space).

1) What do you think of the KEF eggs? Any experience with them?

2) What would they compare to in the polk line up? How about the RTI4's?

Thanks for any input.

    Terrell,

The Kef eggs are a great product, but the sound should be determined by your brother. Polk also makes a challenging product. I suggest taking some his kind of music CD's and see who wins out. In this price range one will fall against another because these systems do not do everything well.

I've listened to the KEF's, and, for such small sprs, they sound friggin amazing. Very detailed. The RTi's are also very good, bit a bit warmer sounding. It all depends on taste.

Thanks for the input. I'll have him listen and see what sounds good to him.

I Have KEF KHT1005. They are good with electronic and, let's say, cold and fast music. They do great job with movie. With soft music, melodic, and human voice I found them tiny bit in difficulty.
