I'm planning on ordering an Alpine CDA-9830. What polk speakers will nicely compliment this amp?

it's not an amp cody, it's just a HU...

Optimally you'd want a component set in front and a 4ch amp to run it with subs and no rear speakers... if you don't want an amp etc i'd go with the polk DB's sizes depending on what your car needs

If youre not planning on getting an amp (which I highly recommend you do) you should get the DB series and preferably the components.

If youre going to get an amp then move up to the Momo.

If you're not going to be amping those speakers, I wouldn't even get the component dB's, just the coaxials. I have the Alpine 9815 and was driving the dB's off the HU with no amp before I got one. Don't expect high volumes or any kind of bass out of those speakers if you're not giving them the power they need. A "60Wx4" Alpine actually puts out around 26 watts RMS. The dB's are rated for 60W RMS, or around 120 Watts peak.

::edit:: You won't believe the amazing difference if you give those speakers the power they deserve. Even a cheap external amp will sound better than the amp in your CD player... just a thought.

Yeah, I'd reccomend a Profile amp...preferably the ca640. You'll get a relatively clean 75wrms x 4 for around a hundred bucks. Good company as far as I've experienced.
