Onkyo DV-CP802. Retails <$500. Anything cheaper than that and you have to ask how well it's really reproducing the formats... (aka Panasonics $100 changers that play DVDa).
Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

Are you referring to the Panasonic F87 for $129.00? This machine is getting all-around positive reviews not only for its DVD-A playback performance, but also for its CD playback (HDCD capable).

You can also look into the Sony SACD-CE595 SACD/CD changer....like the Panasonic changer, excellent performer.

I wonder if these reviews are tainted by the affordability factor... or has Sony stood back up to their OLD reputation again for high quality? Ah well, I've taken to beleive Sony will never again make a good mobile audio product, maybe the home market is more, lets say, sophisticated...

I take that back, I work at wal-mart, and people really do buy that crap... (ie, surround 5.1 systems with only a single R-L in... from Durabrand, no less.. --really, there IS no less-- oh, and NOW they make toasters too... maybe Sony should make a toaster...)

    :D

There is a Toshiba 5 disc DVD Audio/SACD changer, sells for about $180 at BB. Don't have any experience with it personally, although I do like my Toshiba DVD-4800 DVD Audio single disc player just fine. I think it is the Toshiba DVD-6915, but can't remember offhand and Best Buy.com doesn't list it. But I have seen it in stores.
