pc+ versus beer machine

Hey guys (and gals),
Iwould like your opinion on sub placement. I have a new PC+ 25-31 and am limited in space. 2 corners of the room (12x12) are taken up with the entertainment center and front speakers. A 3rd corner is adjacent to an opening (a double pocket door) that can be closed but will require running wires under the floor and/or through the basement. This 3rd corner also has the only piece of furniture left in the room that belongs to the wife and to be honest I probably should let her keep something in there. That leaves the 4th corner and leads to my question. I have a beer vending machine ( 5ft highx 24" deep) 42 inches from the corner and 23 inches from the edge of the svs that is placed in the corner. My question: will this create a "sonic hell", echo, reverb etc.. for my sub or is the machine far enough away that it won't matter? I'm replacing a 50 watt Polk sub so as it stands now the sound of the new pc+ is incredible. But in your guys experience am I limiting my new svs. I'm also not sure if this is enough info to render a judgement but if your could answer in theory to the question of large items next to subs and how far away is OK. The SVS guys said it shouldn't matter but would like any other advice. I know I could just move the vending machine but its a real bear to move and theres no where to put it. thanks for any opinions, kevin
