I have the RM6600 for auditioning for a month from Crutchfield-Althoguh ti sounds excellent on movies I think for just plain old cd and radio listening it pretty much sucks-even with a sub-Im wondering if I should just keep my Cerwin Vega RE-30 for the the front mains-return the sats and buy a good center and rear surrounds(I would keep the subwoofer) ..any suggestions? I paid 650 for the RM6600 and would like to stay within that price range..maybe a little more...

im thinking of going with the 800i-can anyone give me a good opinion on thses for music as well as movies with a PSW350? As usual..the Jerkit City by me did not have them hooked up-they are by far the worst for a listening room..thats why i ended up with the RM6600 on a trail basis from Crutchfield_i have no place to audtion thses except ordering them and hooking them up..also I have some florr standers now but they are 4 ohm spekaers so i dont know if I can hook these directly to my sub..any help or opinions are appreciated

Billm57-
Check out some of the past threads on the 800's.
I think you'll find nearly universal praise for the 800's.
Great for music. Combined with a sub, great for movies.

I've got the RT800i's and I'm very satisfied with them. I listen to music more than movies, and I've got a big 'ol PSW1200 that I run with them. You will want to use a sub with them to bolster their output at the low end, but I think they're great speakers, overall.

another vote for the rt800i's. these can be had for the price you are looking in, and they are both great for HT and stereo! enjoy...

well I have a PSW350 sub ..will that mate well with the 800's?

the psw 350 will work with the rt800i's. a 450 or 650 would give you more bass, but the 350 would provide for ample bass in a small room, and it will blend well with the 800's...
