Passive Sub

I HAVE A DENON 3802 DRIVING 55I'S,CS400 AND BIC POWERED SUB IN THE FRONT AND RM3000'S WITH A PASSIVE SUB IN THE BACK.HOW CAN I TELL IF THE PASSIVE SUB IS WORKING?

    Hi:

    Put your ear in front of the speaker or port. Another way is to rest your hand on the cabinet, you will feel the vibrations.

    Of course if it isn't passive...
    well, you'll still have one good ear.

    Remove the grill, and the driver (sub in question)
    no wires attached?, passive.
    Which is not to say it can't pass alot of wind,
    so be careful.
