Bit of a silly question but just for fun, do you guys like your covers on the speakers or off? My Rti12's and the rest of the Polks look nice with them off, so i keep them off. Maybe a bit of showing off, but the 12's have that beautiful silver finish that matches my TV.

My 12 and CSi5 covers are in storage,I LIKE the looks of those naked bodies...I still have the grills on the rest of our surrounds, they are not quit as purty as the rest...

I like mine off for sound purposes and looks. The LSi's look sweet. I've experiemented with them off and on. They seem to be a little more open with the grills off. I'll probably keep the grills on everything else because they do not match cosmetically.

I can answer this with a picture...

My speakers are FUGLY without grills - not to mention the grills on or off do not alter the sound, so all is well

To Chrome or not to chrome your oil pan?

These are age old guy questions, only you can be the judge, unless your wife wears the pants and then the grills probably stay on and the speakers are probably satellites!:D :D

I keep all my grills on. I like to hear my speakers and not see them when I'm watching movies.

I keep mine on because my dad is a cabnet builder and his "shop" is 2 doors down the hallway...... even with my door closed 90% of the time everything gets super dusty when he starts cutting wood. The grilles keep the majority of the dust off of the speaker itself. I'm also a bit weary of accidently poking that beautiful ring radiator tweeter and in the back of my mind I think that the grille will provide a little protection towards it :p .

My tweeters don't like to be naked, so I leave the grills on.

I keep them on most of the time except when I'm doing some critical listening. Then off come the covers for that extra little nuance.
